Here are some guidelines to help as you prepare your items for the sale. Click here to see what is acceptable and not acceptable for the sale.

Supplies Needed

HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.

STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, the Rhea Lana Store or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.

You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .

If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.

Shoes:

Please only bring your like-new shoes! First, we recommend that you put your consignor number and price on masking tape on the bottom of the shoes. Then safety pin the price tag to a shoe lace or through the shoe eyelet. Zip tying shoes is the best way to keep them together. Make sure they are nice and clean too by scrubbing them with a magic eraser or sponge as they will sell better if they aren't dirty!

Loose Items:

Bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc group together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Pin tag to ziploc bag. It also helps to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc with bag with a Sharpee in case the tag comes off during the sale.

Toys, Furniture, Equipment:

Must be clean and in working order (batteries included.) Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell. Games should be taped closed so that no one can open them. Puzzles, books, videos and small toys should be grouped accordingly and put in ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and pin tag to the ziploc bag. It is also good to write your consignor number and info on the ziploc bag with a Sharpee in case the tag comes off. Puzzles should be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact. TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY

Large Little Tikes Toys and Furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy with your consignor information. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off! We sell 95% of Toys, Furniture and Baby Equipment!
Toy recall information- Due to the high number of toy recalls during the past year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. To help us, please do not bring any toys that have been subject to a recall. Clothing:

The better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes if necessary. Please check for stains, broken zippers, torn hemlines, etc. We will be double checking at check in and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition and the right season. We recommend using children's plastic hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger plastic hangers for sizes 12 and above as they stay on hanger better. NO METAL/WIRE HANGERS, PLEASE! Plastic hangers can be purchased at discount stores like Dollar Tree and Wal-mart. This makes shopping more pleasant for everyone!


For our Fall Event, we are receiving Fall/Winter clothing in Children's, Juniors, and Maternity sizes (limit 15 maternity items per consignor). This includes pants, long sleeved shirts, holiday outfits (Halloween through Valentine's Day), coats, boots, etc. For our Spring/Summer Event, Please bring swimsuits, life jackets, sandals, flip flops and sandals, St. Patrick's, Easter and 4th of July outfits. We also accept children's dress up clothes for both Spring and Fall and Halloween costumes only in the Fall event as they sell better.

Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $4.00. They should be pinned together on a hanger.

All pants must be safety pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor.

Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together. With pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be viewable without unpinning them.

Pants/shorts/jeans:

Please put these on a pant hangar or if you don't have one, please secure them to the top of the hangar only with safety pins so they don't fall off.

Car Seats:

Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition, has never been in an accident and is not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.

Furniture:

You can sell your kid's furniture that is in good condition - play room table and chairs, easels, cribs, toddler beds, and more
